Black agave-blend straws, 8 1/4" long, individually wrapped, 2,000 per case. The tall straw — for highballs, iced coffee, sodas and anything served in a 16 to 24 oz cup.
Getting the length right
An 8 1/4" straw clears the rim of a tall cup with enough left to drink from comfortably. Put a 5.9" straw in a 20 oz cup and it disappears below the ice line, which guests notice immediately and staff end up replacing. If your cold cups are 16 oz and up, this is the size to stock.
