Why agave over paper
The complaint bars get after switching off plastic is always the same: the straw goes soft, collapses, or leaves a papery taste before the drink is finished. Agave-blend straws hold their shape through a long sit, which matters when a guest nurses a cocktail for forty minutes on a terrace in August. They also do not colour-bleed into light drinks the way some printed paper straws do.
